In this co-op game for 1-5 players, you have to travel through Gravity Falls, defend it from monsters and convince the townspeople to help you. With each move from the monsters, more troubles abound, and the trust in the players decreases. To prevent this, you need to defeat them before the alarm gauge reaches its limit.
Each player chooses a character with a unique ability and determines where they will start his game. Each player gets a memo sheet and a deck of six action cards. On their turn, a player must play an action card from their hand, move a character, fight a monster, or build trust with a townsperson. They can also skip their turn, taking back any action cards played earlier. At the end of each player's turn, the monsters move.
After a character moves, there is either a battle with the monster, or the player tries to gain trust. In any case, you will be frequently rolling dice. The more trust and support there is in the town, the easier the battles that await you. The whole gameplay mechanic is built around support, distrust and courage tokens that will appear on the playing field, and their number depends on the decisions made by the players.
Since the game is cooperative, everyone will win and lose together. If the marker on the alarm track reaches the last bar, you will lose, and Dipper and Mabel will have to return home. Join forces with your friends and save Gravity Falls, and your summer vacation!
